I got to eat today.
The best thing I ate was a cookie. It was a tag-a-long. I haven’t had a cookie since the surgery. It was wonderful.
I think tomorrow will be better.
It's sad because I'm looking at food and just...
It was hard eating hospital food. I just thought I was done being deprived. I really, really, hope that when dad calls tomorrow the doctor says I can eat again. I just really miss the sensation of eating. I miss going out to restaurants and ordering things. I miss these and so many more little things in my life.

I got home from the hospital yesterday.
The transition day was tough, but things are getting easier.
Catching up is going to be hard. I won’t even be able to get back to class until I get my staples out, which will be not this Monday but the next one.
No heavy lifting for 2-3 months. That pretty much rules out working, which I guess will give me a lot more time.
I might need to stay off the paper for a while. I don’t know...
